    A creative space where imagination meets hands-on fun! In Craft + Construct, students will explore a wide variety of crafting techniques and materials while also getting the chance to build and invent during special project weeks. With an emphasis on creativity, self-expression, and collaboration, this club encourages kids to make, explore, and grow. Each session supports social-emotional learning and builds confidence—all while having fun and creating something unique!

    Geometry with Prentice Hall Geometry – California
    This rigorous, full-year, college-prep course introduces students to fundamental concepts in geometry: reasoning and proof, parallel and perpendicular lines, congruent triangles, relationships within triangles, quadrilaterals, similarity, right triangles and trigonometry, transformations, area and volume, circles. Students develop their critical reasoning skills, learn proper use of graphing calculators, and begin to use postulates and theorems to justify their mathematical reasoning. Includes options for students to justify their solutions and analyze the reasoning of others, equipping them with peer review skills applicable to subsequent mathematics courses and analytical career paths.

    Each month, students will travel to a new country as we explore diverse cultures, traditions, landmarks, and geography from around the world. Students learn to appreciate global diversity through music, food, flags, and fun facts. This class is designed to supplement cultural and geography studies taught at home.

Whether we are identifying animal tracks or learning about the water cycle, students will build curiosity and confidence in observing the world around them. This enrichment program is designed to support, not replace, core science curriculum.

    First Thursday of the Month

    Each month, students will read or listen to a selected novel and participate in guided discussions aligned with California ELA standards. Together we’ll explore plot, character development, symbolism, and more, while completing written activities to deepen understanding. Regular attendance builds strong literary analysis skills.

    The first meeting is Thursday, October 2nd. The first book is The Giver by Lois Lowry—please read before the first meeting.

  • Teen and Adult Knitting with Katelin

    A cozy class for beginners and seasoned knitters alike!

    Hour 1: Beginner Instruction ($60/month) – Learn casting on, knit & purl stitches, simple patterns, and work on a guided scarf project with step-by-step support.

    Hour 2: Open Knit Studio ($40/month) – Enjoy a relaxed, social space to work on your own projects, get light guidance, and share ideas.

    Both Hours: $100/month – Learn, practice, and connect with fellow knitters all in one evening!

    Optional Starter Supply Kit: $30 (order by 8/29) – includes yarn, needles, and everything you need to begin.
